The Veloroute Gourmand is a beautiful bike ride that just happens to pass by a hundred restaurants, breweries, bakeries, candy stores...
I usually cringe at tourism board web sites, but the folks along the Veloroute Gourmand have actually done a fantastic job. Take a look here, check the boxes on the left for what YOU care about (wineries, chocolatiers, bakeries...) and it will show you some of the great choices..
Each day we'll have one official stop at a wonderful food location and enjoy a terrific local snack -- included in your ride fee.
Otherwise you pay your own tab when you visit any of the hundred snack stops. Trust me -- this plan is better for you.
Why?
You only pay for the things that you actually want -- Do you prefer bakeries? Wineries? A sit-down meal or a quick snack? Want to wander into town? Prefer to stay only on the bike route? YOU get to pick.
